KEMPTON Park SAPS needs the public’s help in identifying the bodies of two men who died in October and November.
According to Kempton SAPS spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali, the police are investigating both cases.
In the first incident on October 4 a man, estimated to be about 30 years old, was found with multiple injuries at Van Riebeeck Park Railway Station. It is suspected he was hit by a train.
“He was taken to Tembisa Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.”
An inquest docket had since been opened.
The second incident is a culpable homicide case in which a male in his 30s was killed when ran over by several cars.
“On November 13 at about 7.30pm the body was discovered with multiple injuries on the R21 between the Voortrekker and Atlas Road off-ramps,” Mtshali said.
Mtshali confirmed that both bodies are still at the Germiston mortuary and had not been identified.
Families and friends of missing loved ones are urged to come forward.
