Nigerian arrested with cocaine in Terenure

The 29-year-old was stopped on Stegmann Street

A man was arrested in Terenure and charged with possession of suspected drugs on November 28 at around 9:30am.

According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, the 29-year-old was stopped on Stegmann Street while driving a green Opel Corsa.

“Members of Ekurhuleni metro police were patrolling when they spotted the car. They pulled it over and inside was a Nigerian by birth.

When they searched the suspect and car, they found three small plastic bags containing cocaine,” explained Molokomme.

The man was arrested and the substance and two cellphones found, were booked in for further investigation.
