TAG benefits from studio’s hafla
Every dancer and audience member also donated cat and dog food for TAG in Benoni
ALMEYA Belly Dance Studio hosted its annual year end hafla (a party or social gathering) for 2016 at its studio on Tuli Street, Birchleigh, on November 26 .
The performance was to demonstrate their students’ hard work during the year – and family and friends enjoyed the day of themed belly dances.
“All women are beautiful and we should all love our bodies. We found that belly dance gives women their confidence back, especially the older women; as well as the younger ones,” said Dawn Mey, co-owner of Almeya.hafla
Every dancer and audience member also donated cat and dog food, plus various animal goodies, for The Animal Guardians (TAG) in Benoni.
