POLICE are investigating a case of house robbery after a Glen Marais family was held at gunpoint in their home.
The family was ambushed in their Witstinkhout Avenue home by two armed men who stole money and their valuables.
“It is alleged that on Wednesday at about noon, the complainant was outside fixing his gate when he was approached by one armed person,” said Kempton police spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali.
This video was taken during another robbery in the suburb:
“The armed man held up his wife, daughter and helper and forced them inside the house.”
While they were being forced into the house, a second person appeared and began ransacking the home, taking jewellery, laptop, tablet device, flat screen television and an undisclosed amount of cash.
