A large number of cellphones have been recovered by police after an armed robbery at a cellphone store at Cavendish Glen Shopping Centre on Friday morning.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, the robbery took place at around 10am.
He said a vehicle, a Hyundai, was tracked to Central Avenue near ABSA bank.
“A large quantity of cellphones have been recovered. The driver of the vehicle, apparently a Midrand resident, is being questioned,” Mtshali said.
Investigations are continuing are more information will follow as it becomes available.
