The metro wasted no time in back filling the huge hole and trench dug on Zuurfontein Road after a major pipe burst on December 13.
The road has been reopened, although not tarred yet, bringing an end to the traffic nightmares of many commuters.
Hopefully it will be tarred on Monday.
