NHLONIPHO Msibi was Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School’s top matriculant last year, with six distinctions.
He obtained distinctions in Afrikaans, maths, life orientation, accounting, life sciences and physical sciences.
Manase Phiri came in second with five distinctions for maths, accounting, physical sciences, life sciences and life orientation.
Two of the school’s matriculants obtained four distinctions each. They were Pfano Matsheketsheke (maths, accounting, physical sciences, life orientation) and Kiasha Dhanpall (Afrikaans, life orientation, economics, life sciences).
