Two suspects were arrested in Ivory Park after being found with stolen items and house breaking implements.
The Tembisa South SAPS communications officer, Captain Neldah Sekgobela, said on January 12 members of Crime Intelligence and the Ivory Park SAPS followed up on information provided by members of the community.
“One of the suspects was found with a crowbar, balaclava, a DSTV Explorer and two cellular phones suspected to be stolen. The other suspect was found with groceries,” said Capt Sekgobela.
Capt Sekgobela said the Cluster Commander, General Vincent Leshabane, thanked the members of the community who are also contributing in the fight against crime by working together with the police in order to provide them with information regarding the suspects.
