Tembisa schools’ pass rate

Tembisa schools do well in the 2016 grade 12 exams.

Tembisa residents requested The Tembisan to publish the matric pass rates of the public schools operating in Tembisa.

According to the National Senior Certificate technical report of 2016, the following are Tembisa’s top-performing schools:

1. Masisebenze Comprehensive School at 96.7 percent and 46 distinctions

2. Jiyana Secondary School at 94.18 percent and 31 distinctions

3. Phomolong Secondary School at 87.74 percent and 27 distinctions

4. Bokamoso Secondary School at 87.22 percent and 30 distinctions

5. Sizwe Secondary School at 86.46 percent and seven distinctions

6. Tembisa West Secondary School at 86.39 percent and 16 distinctions

7. Boitumelong Secondary School at 85.45 percent and 18 distinctions

8. Tembisa Secondary School at 84.46 percent and 47 distinctions

9. Ikusasa Comprehensive School at 80.79 percent and 13 distinctions

10. Zitikeni Secondary School at 78.65 percent and 29 distinctions

11. Tswelopele Secondary School at 73.68 percent and 20 distinctions

12. Inqayizivele Secondary School at 72.76 percent and 53 distinctions

13. Winnie Mandela Secondary School at 69.42 percent and 11 distinctions

14. Thuto-Ke-Maatla Comprehensive School at 61.71 percent and 36 distinctions
