Meeting to re-establish Rotary in Kempton
The meeting will take place at 6.30m for 7pm at OR Tambo Premier Hotel
A meeting will take place on February 16 to try and establish a Rotary Club in Kempton Park.
The city boasted two clubs years ago but both closed down because of dwindling membership. Since then Kemptonians have had to join clubs in surrounding towns.
“The needs in Kempton Park are vast and for one person to make a difference is impossible. For this reason we would like to invite you to attend an information session to find out how you can help make a positive and sustainable difference in your community,” said Grace van Zyl of the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora.
“This is an initiative of the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora and is fully supported by the Rotary District and Rotary International. Rotary is a worldwide network of like-minded individuals and a common goal to make the world a better place,” she added.
There are no restrictions on gender, age, race, political or religious views within Rotary and anyone who would like to help or find out more is welcome to attend.
The meeting will take place at 6.30m for 7pm at OR Tambo Premier Hotel, 73 Gladiator Street, Rhodesfield. It will be an interactive information session about Rotary and the needs in and around Kempton Park.
There is no cost to attend. Email Van Zyl on info@ortkempton.co.za to confirm your attendance or call her on 083-333-7766.
