Flex your green fingers at the Rand Show
Enter at the greenhouse for a chance to win one of five free project kits at each session
Inspire your inner gardener at the Rand Show where well-known horticulturist JJ van Rensburg of Garden World has a daily programme of DIY-garden-project workshops lined up.
From April 14 to 23, JJ will be passing on gardening tips and ideas at the Rand Show greenhouse as he completes mini-garden projects with visitors. Come and plant up a hanging basket, create a mini-veggie container or build your own bird feeder.
Enter at the greenhouse for a chance to win one of five free project kits at each session. Additional kits can be purchased for about R200, depending on the project, or just come along to watch and get ideas for your own garden.
Visitors can also get great show specials on a wide range of plants, from succulents, bearded irises and daylilies, to orchids, herbs, and veggies.
Rand Show tickets at the gate cost R150 adults, R50 pensioners, R50 13-16 years, R20 6-12 years, and under six enter free. Tickets are available at the gate or through Computicket.
