Do your ’67-thing’ for Mandela Day at Kempton SPCA
You can donate money, buy a branded mug for R67, or have artwork done of you and your pet
DON’T forget to include the Kempton Park SPCA on your to-do-list this Mandela Day.
The animal welfare will have a variety of activities going on and would really like to have the community’s support.
As recently communicated from the SPCA’s recent AGM, NGOs in South Africa are generally facing a financial crisis and need as much assistance as possible.
And doing your bit of caring for the animals don’t even need to take 67 minutes.
Firstly, people can either donate R67, R670 or (if you’re feeling really generous and can afford to) contribute R6 700.
For sale will also be a “Kempton Park SPCA” branded mug which can be purchased for R67.
This one’s for the kiddies: bring your little one, or big little one (AKA teens) along to place his or her hand print on the SPCA’s wall for only R67.
Lastly, you can send a photo of you and your furry friend, or chirping, or slithering friend and get an artist’s impression, either a painting or drawing, done on an A5 size for only R67.
Because there will only be one artist, those keen should please start sending their photos and payment through before July 18 and should also please be patient and give the artist an extra month to have the art completed.
Of course, you can choose one, two, or all of the above to get done, as long as it includes the “67” theme.
For more information call 011 975 6537, 011 0208 3203 or 011 029 7637. To send through photos, email them to info@kemptonspca.co.za with proof of payment (use your name and Mandela as reference).
