Show a slice of support for Kempton Park SPCA
Starting from Women’s Day on August 9, the Italian restaurant will donate R5 to the SPCA from every meal sold on Wednesdays
ARE your two favourite things in the world, pizza and pets?
Then get down to Panarottis Festival Mall where you can enjoy a scrumptious pizza or a delicious hot plate of pasta – for charity.
Starting on Women’s Day on August 9, the Italian restaurant will embark on an initiative to raise funds for the welfare of animals.
Every Wednesday from now onwards, Panarottis will donate R5 to the SPCA from every plate of food ordered.
So if you’re a fan of pizza and pets, then take part in the campaign by eating out at the restaurant on Wednesdays.
Kempton SPCA manager, Kira Sparrow, is excited about the project and says it will be a great partnership for them.
“This is a great initiative for us. And what’s awesome is that it will be easy and convenient for people to take part; it won’t cost them anything. All they have to do, is eat out,” Sparrow said.
Alisha Greig, owner of Panarottis Festival Mall, said they decided to help out the SPCA to raise awareness against animal cruelty and how to take proper care of pets.
“We are such animal lovers. I have lots of dogs of my own, so working with Kempton SPCA was a natural move. We have been involved with the SPCA before, so this is also a way of playing a bigger role,” Greig added.
