Tembisa Orlando Pirates supporters clean school yard for Madiba’s commemmoration
The Tembisa Orlando Pirates supporters spent their 67 Minutes of Mandela day cleaning the yard of Thuto-Ke-Matla Comprehensive School.
Orlando Pirates Supporters Greater Tembisa Branch donated some gardening tools to Thuto-Ke-Matla Comprehensive School, on July 23.
The tools include two wheel barrows, four spades, three brooms, two dustpans and other gardening tools.
The donation was part of the 67 Minutes for Mandela Day (July 18).
The Tembisa Orlando Pirates supporters spent their 67 Minutes cleaning the yard of Thuto-Ke-Matla Comprehensive School.
According to Themba Ntombela, they wanted to give back to the school for supporting their branch.
“We have a good relationship with the school. They provide us with a space where we hold meetings on weekends. We have been using the school for some years. The donation was a token of our appreciation and it is also part of our community outreach programme,” said Ntombela.
