Prophet claims ‘God’s voice’ reveals SA’s next president

‘I do not want to publish this for fame - it is what God wants me to tell His people’

By Robert Mangwale

God has revealed – through a prophet – who the next South African president should be.

Prophet Calvin Lebepe claims God spoke to him in a vision and commanded him to tell the nation to obey this prophecy.

“God’s voice told me straight Cyril Ramaphosa is the chosen son. Then, after I saw a picture of Cyril addressing the state, that’s what I believed,” Lebepe said. According to the 28-year-old prophet, God showed him that deputy president Ramaphosa would be the next president of South Africa.

Lebepe is one of the pastors and a prophet serving under the Oneness Body of Christ Church in Ebony Park.

He said many of his visions came to pass and that this could be verified through his mentor and other congregants.

He said he was a man of action and that his fellow church members could confirm that. He said some of the congregants found jobs as a result of his prophecies.

Prophet Lebepe said if people did not vote according to the prophecy’s instruction, the country would soon be in a worse state.

“I do not want to publish this for fame – it is what God wants me to tell His people.

“The issue is neither about credentials nor the standard of his education. It’s about the purpose of God for Cyril Ramaphosa to lead this country,” he said.

Lebepe said he wished he could sit down with Cyril and tell him about the vision. On television would be better for the sake of South Africa.

He said although social media such as Facebook was a platform that enabled him to express his vision, he decided to opt for a newspaper like The Tembisan.

“The only people who stand to benefit in this prophecy could be the ruling party but this prophecy is not for them, it is a prophecy for the nation.

“We have been with Prophet Calvin Lebepe for over ten years,” said Lebepe’s mentor, Bishop Theothilus Keetse.

He confirmed that Lebepe is a spiritual person whose gift has healed many people.

“Lebepe is currently heading Oneness Body of Christ Church in the absence of the pastor who is on pension,” said Bishop Keetse.
