Operation Ses’fikile hit Kempton Park central business district again on Friday night to root out criminal behaviour.
According to Kobeli Mokheseng, metro police spokesperson, the operation started at 6pm and lasted until 2am Saturday morning.

Metro police officers from the K9 unit, SWAT (intervention), POPS (public order policing), equestrian unit, nearby precincts and members from the South African Police Service joined forced.
One intoxicated driver was arrested,five traffic fines were issued and one suspect was found a packet Crystal Meth.

Mokheseng said officers stopped and searched 159 motor vehicles, visited and searched four businesses and dwelling places), frisked 264 persons and scanned 396 vehicles.
“An intoxicated male in his thirties driving a sedan on Old Pretoria Road said he just took flu medication but our breathalyser proved him wrong. A 39-year-old male who was found with Crystal Meth decided to remain silent when being interviewed about the prohibited drug found in his possession on Voortrekker Road,” Mokheseng said.
Both suspects were taken to Kempton Park Police Station to be charged.
