Kempton Park Driver’s Licence Testing Centre will be closed from Tuesday (August 8) and will only reopen on Monday, August 14.
According to acting manager Gerrie Jansen van Rensburg the closure is necessary due to system upgrades and training that will be conducted at the facility.
“The new system is more efficient for service delivery and training our staff is essential for proper service delivery.”
These services will still be operational during the closure period:
• Driver’s testing (pre-confirmed bookings)
• Learner’s testing (pre-confirmed bookings)
• Roadworthy testing
These services will NOT be available during the closure period:
• Renewal and/or replacement of driver’s licences and PrDPs
• Collection of driver’s licences (card-type)
• New bookings for learner’s and driver’s licences
