15-year-old Todipiano Mogale needs you to raise funds to buy dignity packs for teenage girls in need
GLEN Marais teen Todipyana Mogale (15) has made it to the finals of Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur SA 2017.
The Grade 10 Curro Serengeti learner is proud to represent Kempton Park and needs residents to support her campaign to fund dignity packs for other teens in need.
On June 15, when Todipyana was announced as one of the finalists, she could not contain her excitement. She has already started campaigning and has asked for assistance from her parents, colleagues and friends, but she knows she also needs the support of all Kemptonians to make a bigger mark.
Locals are encouraged to visit the pageant’s Facebook page, Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur SA, like her picture and donate a minimum of R200 to sponsor one dignity pack, before October 3. Donations can be made directly to the organisation in the form of a bank deposit.
“I have already started raising awareness about what I am doing at school and it makes me excited that I am now involved in charity directly. I used to do a lot of charity work but I never felt I was as involved as I am now.
“I will be able to donate dignity packs to girls as young as I am and that means a lot to me. My mother and relatives in Cape Town support my campaign. They are proud and they want to help.
“I encourage all people of Kempton Park to support me and help me to help girls in need. One dignity pack costs R200 but people can sponsor more than one pack,” said Todipyana.
