Water to 10 areas in Tembisa will be cut at 3pm this afternoon (Wednesday) for technicians to replace damaged water valves at Emfihlweni Reservoir in Tembisa.
There will be no water until midnight tonight.
These areas will be without water:
• Elidinga;
• Emangweni;
• Emfihlweni;
• Emoyeni;
• Endulweni;
• Igqagqa;
• Ililiba;
• Isekelo;
• Isithame;
• Isiziba.
Water tankers will be placed at the following places:
• Emangweni shops;
• Endulwini shops;
• lliliba ground;
• Mvelaphanda Primary School;
• Police Station Precinct;
• Tshabalala shops in Emoyeni.
The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for the inconvenience.
Another water interruption will occur on Thursday to replace valves in Mooifontein Cemetery.
