Ministry plans ceremony to address social ills in Tembisa

ANC Ward 9 Clr Dimakatso Dlamini would be one of the guests

A ceremony for the Tembisa community will be hosted at Mehlareng Tennis Courts by the Thousand Years Apostolic Christ Ministries on September 30.

Reverend Beatrice Sampo said members of the community are invited to come and attend the sermons by different pastors.

“We want to address controversial issues that affect the community on a daily basis. The issues that we want to address include women and child abuse, human trafficking and obesity. We invited different stakeholders to take part. We are planning to give them the platform to lecture and share their views on these controversial issues,” said Beatrice.

She said ANC Ward 9 Clr Dimakatso Dlamini would be one of the guests.

“We are planning to include entertainment to attract visitors. The ceremony will also allow the People Opposed to Women Abuse (POWA) to deliver a speech to the congregants. Dancers, actors and poets will be given a chance to perform after the sermons of the day to showcase their talents,” said Beatrice.
