Truck crashes into SUVs on N3 – one critically injured
The patients were thereafter transported to various hospitals for further treatment
Three people were injured on Wednesday morning, one of them critically, when a truck crashed over the centre median and into two SUVs on the N3 near the Van Buuren off-ramp in Bedfordview.
Russel Meiring of ER24 said ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the truck on top of the concrete barriers. Two wrecked SUVs were found on the opposite side of the highway.

“Paramedics from various services inspected the scene and found that three people had been injured. One of the patients had sustained critical injuries. The patients were treated for their injuries and the critically injured patient provided with advanced life support treatment,” Meiring added.
The patients were thereafter transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
