Annual nite race will affect traffic on January 31

The annual Arwyp Nite Race, hosted by Kempton Road Runners, will take place on January 31.

The event starts and finishes at the Barnard Stadium and winds through the suburbs of Edleen, Van Riebeeck Park and Spartan.

Traffic will be disrupted between 5pm and 8pm. CR Swart Drive will be closed from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for the start of the race as the runners exit the stadium onto CR Swart Drive.

Residents are invited to come and participate in either the 5km fun run or the 15km race.

Entries for the 15km race are available from 5pm at Glen Acres Spar, Sportsman’s Warehouse Greenstone and at the venue on the day of the race.

Entries for the fun run can be obtained at the venue from 5pm.

Refreshments will be on sale.
