Tembisa residents make their resolutions.

The festive fever has subsided and some of those who are employed have received their first pay for the year. Now it is time for many to look at their budgets and be realistic about their resolutions for the year. The Tembisan took to the streets to hear some of the plans residents have for 2018.

Thabang Setoaba said: “I am planning to start my own business park for young entrepreneurs. I want to get an international PR company to promote my Harry Nervous brand. I am interested in beverages – I will work hard to get that going too. I want a house in an affluent suburb and buy two C63 Mercedes Benz AMGs. I have no time to doubt myself and am aiming high. I want to showcase my Harry Nervous brand at the Mercedes Benz fashion week and SA fashion week.”

 

Frank Malete said: “I want to get a job and plan a bright future for my children. I made mistakes and lost everything I had. I was to some extent well off, but I want to rebuild my life. I want to build a house for my children and pay lobola for my girlfriend. In 2018 I plan to work hard. I had a chance in my life and now it is about my family.”

 

Michael Mothiba said: “Currently I am unemployed and I am planning to get a job. I want get into a serious relationship for 2018 and going forward. I want a dedicated partner to be a loyal wife and build a future with me. I want someone who can understand my circumstances at the moment. My number is 079 262 3826. Nicholas Baloyi said: “I want to go back to school and finish my tertiary education. I want to do my postgraduate certificate in education. Currently, I have a diploma in business management from TUT. Last year I did achieve some of my goals; hence, I am now on a learnership programme. Those which I did not achieve were due to financial problems.”
