Driver critically injured in collision with truck on the R21

A man, believed to be in his 40s, is in a critical condition after a collision with a truck on the R21 near Benoni Benoni on Friday morning.

Annine Siddall of ER24 said the accident happened at about 6.30am. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver in his vehicle.

The man was treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

The exact details surrounding the incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene.
