LEARNERS of Kempton Park Primary School started the year with a fresh look as the school is replacing its old uniform.
“The school uniform was given a new lease on life by replacing the girls outdated checked maroon dress with a maroon and grey skirt, which is complemented by a grey golf shirt,” Lizette Louw, school principal, said.
The boys wear the same new grey golf shirt with the current grey trousers. The new uniform will be phased in over the next three years.
The aesthetics and security of the school building was upgraded by BestFence as part of its social economic development initiative. The dilapidated perimeter fence and gates were replaced with a high, secure wire fence product, improving the safety and image of the school, at no cost to the school, Louw said.
“On behalf of the school governing body, teachers and learners we thank BestFence for this substantial investment,” Louw added.
