Welamlambo learners receive new uniforms and backpacks

Seventy-three learners of Welamlambo Primary After Care Centre each received a new school uniform and backpack from the Peermont Children’s Trust.

Seventy-three learners of Welamlambo Primary After Care Centre each received a new school uniform and backpack from the Peermont Children’s Trust.

The donation was made to the school on February 5.

Peermont Children’s Trust is one of Peermont Global’s flagship corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives.

Helping to hand out the uniform packs was the trust’s administrator, Thomas Masango and the trust’s chairperson Tshidi Madima.

The learners that receive uniforms attend the after care centres supported by the trust at RP Maphanzela Primary School in Thokoza, Reahile Primary School in Katlehong, Fortune Kunene, Nageng and Thembimfundo Primary Schools in Vosloorus, Khangezile Primary School in KwaThema and Welamlambo Primary School in Tembisa.

About 650 youngsters who attend the trust supported after care centres, received new school clothes.
