Valentine’s open day at transport museum

Celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 17 at the James Hall Museum of Transport at Pioneers Park, Rosettenville Road, in La Rochelle, Johannesburg.

The museum will stage a Valentine’s open day to give visitors an opportunity to learn more about the long and diverse history of land transport in South Africa.

This is a family fun day for visitors of all ages. Activities include rides on vintage vehicles, a food stall and a children’s playground. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic baskets.

Admission to the museum is free of charge and there is no charge for the rides. A voluntary donation towards the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicles in the museum would be appreciated.
