‘All hell will break loose’ in Kempton on Monday night

Police to simulate a real life scenario

Sounds of gun fire, explosives and blaring sirens will erupt in Kempton Park on Monday.

Although it will sound like all hell has broken loose in the city, stay calm, as it will only be a simulation exercise carried out by the police.

The police will simulate a real life scenario of a train hijacking and hostage situation at the Rhodesfield Station, OR Tambo International Airport and Pan African Parliament in Midrand.

The exercise is expected to start around 7pm and last until 4am on Tuesday.

Residents in surrounding areas are advised to take precautionary measures if their pets are sensitive to loud noise.
