What real evidence exists for the resurrection of Christ?

For everyone who has ever pondered the existence of God, The Case For Christ movie is a heartfelt and compelling journey of an award-winning investigative journalist – and a vowed atheist – who applies his well-honed journalistic and legal skills to disprove the newfound Christian faith of his wife, with unexpected, life-altering results.

The movie will be shown on February 23 at 7pm at Gateway Church, Plot 18, Dann Road, Glen Marais.

It will be followed by a four-week sermon series starting on February 25 at 9am. The series will be based on the movie to help people grow more established in their faith and understand why they believe what they do.

The Case For Christ was released in theatres and is based on the New York Times best-selling book by Lee Strobel. It’s the 1980 Chicago true story of a journalist (Strobel) who goes on a CS Lewis-like journey from scepticism to faith by first trying to debunk Christianity, only to realise that the evidence for Christ was just too powerful to remain an unbeliever.

Gateway Church is a family-orientated church where all are welcome. For more information, call 011 972 8211 or 084 514 7269.
