The 2018 Township Entrepreneurs Alliance’s monthly sessions kicked-started on February 17 at Moriting Park. Township Entrepreneur Alliance will celebrate its 4th year of existence as a platform that empowers township entrepreneurs with skills, networking, enterprise development and access to the market.
The first session was conducted under the following topics: Vision outline, presentation skills and the setting of goals.
Speakers for the day included an entrepreneur, a motivational speaker, author, radio talk show host Zareef Minty, a business strategist and digital transformation evangelist Sibusiso Motshweni, as well as the inspirational speaker, business consultant and author Trevor Kamoto.
The event was attended by entrepreneurs from different fields of business, mobile bar services, events, media, construction, agriculture and many others.
The first 2018 pitch was won by Koketso Seshibedi, the owner of Kaypable Creations. She is a trendy retailer of bags and fashion clothing across adult and children’s market in Africa. Koketso will be featured on CliffCentral #360BizShow next week Wednesday to profile her business.
Zareef Minty, the host of #TheDominoEffect on Massiv Metro, also offered entrepreneurs who attended the event an opportunity to profile their businesses on their show with Candice Modiselle. Everyone is a winner at TEA.
TEA’s next session will take place on March 17 at Moriting Park.
