Soweto Gold beer has reached out to entice and win Tembisan’s palate in the beer-loving community.
Tembisa beer lovers got to enjoy the taste of a true Kasi beer on March 9 at DA Square Tavern in Emangweni section. Soweto Gold beer founder Ndumiso Madlala said the beer is made for everyone hence they have reached out to the Tembisa community to share the taste.
“Soweto Gold is a superior golden lager and it has arrived in Tembisa.
“We are busy taking over Gauteng and soon we will be taking over the whole country,” said Madlala.
According to Madlala, Soweto Gold is brewed with true South African pride, he said the Kasi born beer celebrates brotherhood, which is a bond that is worth even more than gold.
Ndumiso said his background is in chemical engineering and he did his Masters thesis on the beer as a topic.
After working for a number of years in the beer brewing industry he eventually partnered with a reputable beer brewing company to produce Soweto Gold.
He said Soweto Gold is now available in Tembisa at a recommended retail price of R13 for the 750ml non-returnable bottle and R12 for the 500ml can.
“It is an expertly brewed pure golden lager, with a smooth and rich taste and an ABV of 5 per cent.
“Let’s raise our glasses to the new Tembisa icon.”
The legendary Jerry ‘Legs of Thunder’ Sikhosana endorsed and welcomed Soweto Gold into Tembisa.
