Be part of the St Saviour Emmanuel Concert
The one-day event will be held at Rabasotho Community Hall on April 28.
Phomolong-based St Saviour Emmanuel Church is inviting local bands and residents from the surrounding areas to join them for an exciting band concert.
The one-day event will be held at Rabasotho Community Hall on April 28.
It will start at 10am until 6pm.
According to one of the concert organisers, Zandile Ngobeni, the aim of the concert is to bring the community together and raise funds for the church band to be able to buy new band equipment.
“The concert is open to everyone who is interested in taking part or just be entertained by our local church bands. We have been working hard and invested a lot of time in making sure that the concert is a success. We are appealing to other church bands eager to show talent as musicians to join,” said Ngobeni.
Ngobeni added there will be several performances throughout the day, various bands showing off their talent and entertaining the community.
Local church bands expected to perform are the St Joseph brass band known as 7 minutes, the St Patrick Morning Star brass band – Egepeta, St Paul’s Apostolic Faith Mission International – Mangweni, Kgotlelelo Etlisa Katleho Gospel Choir and the St Saviour Emmanuel brass band – Skateboard.
