Shaun Senekal is new chairman for Edenvale Round Table

The Edenvale Round Table inducted a new chairman, Shaun Senekal (32) from Boksburg, on March 1.
The club, which also serves Kempton Park, is part of a global organisation of like-minded individuals who develop life-long friendships and the experiences of a camaraderie that is increasingly rare in our modern society.
When asked about his plans for the following year, Senekal stated: “We hope to have the club engage more with businesses and individuals through interacting with fund-raising initiatives to further the impact we have already had in previous years.
“Last year, through our Winter Knights project, we raised over R15 000 worth of non-perishable food items and over R5 000 worth of blankets and clothing items which were handed out to the homeless. Our aim for 2018 is to have the community involved to far exceed last year’s collection.”
He also said that while club membership is for young men between the ages of 18 and 40, the focus has always been on families.
