Telta brands its Quantum taxis in red and black

The weekly subscription fee has been increased from R70 to R100 per vehicle

The Tembisa Local Taxi Association gazetted its new Quantum taxis branded in red and black colour coding at the front of each taxi.

The spokesperson of the association, Peter ‘The Black’ Ntshoane, said they urge members of the community to commute in these Quantum taxis when travelling from Winnie Mandela to Birch Acres Mall.

“We are appealing to residents to work with us so that we can be able to avoid frustrations on the roads and criminal elements in the taxi industry. This red and black mark will help our people identify which Quantum taxis are relevant to their rightful destination,” added Ntshoane.

Ntshoane said taxi operators are informed of the weekly increment fee that was settled at Telta’s recent AGM.

“The weekly subscription fee has been increased from R70 to R100 per vehicle,” added Ntshoane.
