‘Rock star’ Aiden (6) excels at modelling

He thinks what makes him win all his pageants are his smile and personality

Six-year-old Aiden Wolmarans is a model and aspiring rock star.

The grade one learner at Laerskool Bredell has only competed in three modelling pageants and at all three occasions, he walked away with an award or two.

He hopes to one day make it to the big screen.

The model and aspiring rock star recently took home the overall male award in the four to 19-year-old category at a pageant at the Premier Hotel.

Aiden also won six certificates that day, namely supreme personality, directors choice, best ramp of the evening, elegance award and the runway model supreme.

The six-year-old loves acting, performing and singing. He seems to think he has the voice of an angel, but mommy thinks he needs a voice coach.

“I like walking on stage and modelling. Jesus gave me the talent. I also like to win and hear my name being called,” he said.

Does he think he’s cute? “Yes,” he answered shyly.

“Because rock stars sing and dance,” he enthusiastically responded.

Aiden is very active at school and is involved in rugby, cricket and revue.

His mom pointed out that he is also a maths whizz.
