#TBT: Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after Zuurfontein Road crash
The passenger on the motorbike was treated for possible internal injuries

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in critical condition on Tuesday afternoon after being involved in an accident on Zuurfontein Road.
His passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Werner Vermaak of ER24 said paramedics arrived at the scene at about 4.30pm. They found two men with serious injuries.
“One of the men, believed to be in his thirties, sustained serious fractures. The ER24 Oneplan Medical Helicopter was called to the scene to airlift him to Mediclinic Sandton,” Vermaak said.
The passenger on the motorbike was treated for possible internal injuries before being rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Vermaak said it is understood that the rider swerved to avoid crashing with a vehicle and lost control over the motorbike.
