Croydon CPF nominations are open

Nominations will close on April 29 at 3pm.

Croydon residents have, due to unforeseen circumstances, had an interim Sector 2 CPF committee for more than six months.

Nominations for a new committee are now open.

Sebenza SAPS (CPF) chairman, Andrew Mosesi, said the need to put up a permanent structure was inevitable.

“A nomination box has been placed at Sebenza SAPS Customer Services Centre (CSC). Nomination forms are to be completed and deposited in the allocated box,” explained Mosesi.

The chairman said a date, time and venue for the elections would be advised later.

“A new interim committee may be put in place in the event that the meeting is unable to elect a new committee. We guarantee free and fair elections with no conflict of interest. We urge all residents of Croydon over the age of 18 to participate in nominating and attend elections to elect nominated members.”

Nominations will close on April 29 at 3pm.
