It might have been a long weekend, but crime prevention did not rest.
Altogether, 36 suspects were arrested in and around Norkem Park between April 27 and May 1. This, thanks to the folks at Norkem Park SAPS, the National Traffic Police and Cluster Crime Prevention.
“Thirteen suspects were arrested for driving in and around the Norkem Park area while under the influence of alcohol,” Capt Lesibana Molokomme, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, told Express.
“The other 23 arrests were arrested for charges ranging from housebreak-in, theft, sexual assault, shoplifting and possession of suspected stolen property,” he added.
