Get your Tembisan on your doorstep

The Tembisan has opened office in the township to get closer to the community

The Tembisan newspaper has, for the past 27 years, provided a platform for the community to document Kasi history.

In 1990 The Tembisan was established as a community newspaper that serves Tembisa, which was estimated to have about 1.5 million residents at the time.

The Tembisan was there to inform residents of the plight faced by families, and also when residents stood together to build a better future for generations to come.

Fast-forward to this day in 2018, and we are still walking by your side. We still stand by your side to tell good stories of a people who strive to lift themselves out of poverty. We serve the purpose of upholding human dignity and in documenting a history that will inform decisions of future generations in the township.

To get closer to its community, The Tembisan has set up a container office to make it easier for residents to interact with us.

We hereby introduce the arrival ofThe Tembisanoffice at T-Shad behind Tembisa Plaza – in the same yard from where the local radio station, The Voice of Tembisa (VOT), is operating.

For now, the office is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays.

These services are offered right on your doorstep:

1. Book your main body/classifieds advertisements.

2. Bring us your story.

3. Get your copy of The Tembisan.

4. Vendor opportunities are available.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
