Motorcyclist killed in accident on the P91 on Tuesday

A man in his 40s died on Tuesday afternoon after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car on the P91.

Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for Netcare 911, said paramedics responded to the accident scene at 5pm.

“Tragically the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene. The driver of the light motor vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported by another private ambulance service to hospital.”

At the same time on Tuesday afternoon, paramedics also dealt with a serious accident on Great North Road in which at least 28 people were injured.
