Norkem youngsters have fun at vacation Bible school

Fun, games and learning about God were on the day camp's agenda.

More than 145 Norkem Park children were definitely not bored during the school holiday, as they joined the Assemblies of God in Kempton Park’s three-day event last week Monday to Wednesday.

According to Charity Malope, head of the day camp, the idea behind the vacation Bible school was for youngsters to have fun.

“This was a community outreach, so everything was free. We played games, had praise and worship and learned more about God. We also encouraged the children to have confidence in themselves.”
