Women empower each other

Women continue to celebrate and empower each other even after Women's Month.

Women and young women took empowerment to the next level at eMseni Christian Centre.

Church of Christ of the Brethren women took it upon themselves to empower each other at a women’s conference from September 28-30. The aim of the conference was to show that women could be celebrated even after Women’s Month.

“We love to encourage each other but we only get to see each other once a week at church. We wanted to make more time for ourselves as women and our beautiful young girls to spend a weekend together and feed off each other,” said Valerie Sithole, a member of the church.

The conference is hosted annually at different venues but this year it was held at eMseni Christian Centre in Bonaero Park.

“We have learned so much from each other during that weekend and we are hoping to host more of these conferences during the year,” said Sithole.
