Play golf to help a child with a bursary
All funds raised will go towards scholarships for underprivileged children in the East Rand.
In the mood for a round of golf? Join Solidarity Helping Hand at the Kempton Park Golf Club on November 1 for a golf day with a good cause.
“The idea behind the golf day is to raise funds for study bursaries for underprivileged children in the East Rand,” said chairperson Ella Pieterse in a statement.
“We want to assist them to create a better future for themselves and to make a better living.”
The day will kick off at 9.30am. Local businesses can sponsor a hole for R2 000, and residents can play a round of four-ball for R 2 000. Golf carts will also be available for R250.
Players will enjoy a gourmet dinner on the day, and prizes will also be up for grabs.
“Any other donations are welcome and will be truly appreciated,” Pieterse added.
