Kind-hearted Kempton Park businessman Lebogang Dikgale (46) founded Rich Track in 2003 to empower local youths through education.
When his business received a grant from the City of Ekurhuleni, he decided to use the money to offer a micro MBA course to youngsters for free.
“We hope to become a major role player in the development of the South African economy by creating jobs and alleviating poverty.”
Already, more than 50 people from across the city have taken part.
Now, to further uplift aspiring business people, Dikgale is hosting a Business Plan of the Year competition.
“The winning business will receive R15 000, second place will get R10 000 and the third prize will be R500,” Dikgale said.
To enter, businesses must be located in Ekurhuleni, formally registered, and 50 per cent owned by women.
