Friends and family members of Thahiso Selepe celebrated his 29th birthday at Dries Niemandt Picnic Park on October 6.

Thahiso told the group he was thankful to have thoughtful friends and family who celebrated his day and made it special for him.
“It is not everyone who gets to celebrate their birthday in style. Some people spend their birthday busy at work or going through hardships and forgetting that it is their birthday. This day really means a lot to me and I am happy to enjoy it with the special people in my life,” said Thahiso.
His friend, Nyiko Mathebula, said there was no way he could forget his best friend’s birthday since he is the pillar of his life.
“When the thought came to mind that my friend was about to celebrate his birthday, I said to myself I will speak to his family to arrange something special for him. So everyone loved the idea and prepared a party for him. Days like these come only once a year, so it is essential to celebrate it, especially with the people you really adore,” added Nyiko.
