Child Welfare Kempton Park to hold its AGM
Members of the community who would like to join the board are encouraged to attend this meeting.
Child Welfare Kempton Park will hold its 52nd annual general meeting on November 22.
All residents of Kempton Park, including those working at or running local businesses, are requested to attend. The deadline to RSVP is November 12.
If you are passionate about participating in the organisation whose main mandate is child protection, and also assisting with sustaining the organisation, this is the opportunity for you to join the management board.
Two to three children are reported to the organisation daily having been abused, abandoned or neglected, others falling victim to human trafficking, drug and substance abuse and prostitution. Without public participation, this scourge is likely to increase.
