SA’s most beautiful wife crowned in Kempton
A local beauty also participated in the Mrs SA final.
The 23 most beautiful married women in South Africa took the stage at Emperors Palace last week Friday, where they elegantly battled it out for the title of Mrs South Africa.
The event was nothing short of glamorous, as guests from across the country – dressed to the nines – took their seats in the Theatre of Marcellus.
The charismatic singer Katlego Maboe was the MC of the evening, but all eyes were on the gorgeous finalists as they started the evening with a dance number, followed by swimwear, casual wear and evening gowns.
Kempton Park residents had their fingers crossed for local beauty Kaylan Hamel Bartlett who was also a finalist. Unfortunately, the mineral resource geologist from Birch Acres did not make the top 10.

The judges, who had the difficult task of choosing the next Mrs SA, was former Miss SA Cindy Nell-Roberts, businessman Vusi Zwane, former Mrs SA Hlengiwe Twal, entrepreneur Mel Viljoen and the current Mrs World Alice Lee Gianetta.
Ultimately, the crown went to mother, entrepreneur and philanthropist Matapa Maila Rikhotso from Limpopo.
“It truly takes a village to raise a child,” Rikhotso said about her win.
“I stand on the shoulders of giants and this is their win too. I look forward to serving, learning and growing with South Africa.”
Enolicia Strever from Welkom was named first Princess and Jo-Anne Barnwell from Durban was named second Princess.
