Use water wisely during heatwave, Rand Water warns

With heatwave conditions prevailing in Gauteng for the rest of the week, Rand Water has urged its consumers to use water wisely.

The heat wave conditions being experienced in Gauteng, the North West and Mpumalanga provinces, and forecast for the rest of the week, has already resulted in high demand and is placing strain on our bulk water supply network, said Justice Mohale, spokesperson for Rand Water.

“Water saving is in periods such as these, critical and individual efforts do make a difference.”
