Gateway Church invites the community to its “God With Us: A Journey to Christmas” series.
This four-week series is based on the Advent themes of hope, love, joy and peace and will start on Sunday, December 2 at 9am.
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year …” or so the old song goes. Yet it doesn’t always feel that way.
Sometimes it is marked with loneliness or missing a loved one who has passed on. And the often-hectic nature of the season can pile on more challenges and stress.
The good news is, there is hope. Hope, love, joy and peace to be exact.
In a season often marked by frenzied busyness, Advent is an opportunity to set aside time to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
The relevant messages in this series are designed to help us place our focus on a far greater story than our own—the story of God’s redeeming love for our world.
With coffee and tea, lighting of the Advent wreath, and a gift for visitors, this series is the perfect opportunity for families throughout the community to come together to celebrate this special season.
