Arebaokeng Children Daycare celebrates graduation ceremony

Tembisa pub gets involved in community work.

Boiketlong Pub and Grill staff took some time out to celebrate with Arebaokeng Children Daycare Centre at their graduation party on November 23.

Boiketlong partnered with other stakeholders to put smiles on the children’s faces.

Oupa Letswalo, the entertainment coordinator at Boiketlong, said the aim of the event was to give back to the community.

“It is our first time giving back to children and we will make sure it does not end here.

“We joined forces with Zimbi Entertainment and Jullies Catering and gave away more than 500 party packs and served delicious food for the children.

“We also donated clothes,” said Letswalo.

Arebaokeng Children Daycare Centre gave out gifts to the children.

He said the Boiketlong Pub and Grill team members are ready to assist the community wherever they can.

“We encourage other organisations to join forces in lending a helping hand.

“NGOs that need our help can hand in a proposal for consideration.

“Arebaokeng Children Daycare Centre did the same thing to get help.

“After seeing our community work they made us aware of their challenge of organising a graduation party, so we came in to make the dream possible for them,” said Letswalo.

Dimakatso Pooe from Arebaokeng Children Daycare Centre said the event was beautiful.

“We are very happy. They handled all the event logistics as though it was theirs.

“Everything was perfect and we are thankful for the gesture. The donors must continue to do this for other centres as well.”
